- I have always been a huge admirer of George Harrison, his life and his work. In this pop art portrait I have used the effect of George emerging from the shadows as he grows in both stature and confidence in his own right. I suppose that I could have gone for a more obvious title such as "here comes the sun", but I decided to use George's own thought of "Dark Horse" as in the name of his record label. The medium is acrylic and ink on stretch canvas with painted edges. The work is varnished and is ready to hang. Postal delivery is included to mainland UK only.
