This painting ticks a lot of boxes and falls into many categories. I have chosen to place it here in figurative composition because the couple portrayed here are an integral part of the painting. The Bass rock is known world wide and people flock to view it all year round and is a magnificent sight in it's own right. I have taken a wee bit artistic licence here with the foreground in this work, giving a slightly dream-like quality without loosing impact.
