This painting is inspired by Richard Bach's book "Jonathan Livingston Seagull". I have read "Jonathan" many times over the years and have long considered him an old friend. This painting is one of three that I have created capturing what I feel is the essence of "Jonathan". This painting shows Jonathan leaving the flock(depicted by sheep)after they have banished him and turned their backs to him. Painted on deep box canvas using acrylic and ink, the work has painted edges, is varnished and ready to hang. Postal delivery is included to mainland UK only.
