- This painting is based on some recent observations made on a journey through the Lake District. A winter evening looking over some rooftops. The central image in the painting is surrounded by a painted purple and silver border, which in turn gives the impression of a window view. In essence the work consists of purple and green hues, with the white chimney stacks in the foreground catching the eye. Overall the painting offers a quiet and dreamlike ambience to the viewer. The work is painted on deep box canvas. The medium used is acrylic and ink. The work has painted edges, is varnished and is ready to hang. Postal delivery is included to mainland UK only.
